The monastery island of Reichenau in Lake Constance is rightly a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as its Romanesque churches dating from the 9th to 11th centuries are well worth a visit. On this guided tour for bus groups (max. 50 people per group), you will visit the church of St. George with its Ottonian wall paintings. On a guided tour with a stop at the Hochwart lookout, you will learn more about the history, vegetable growing, viticulture and fishing on the island. After about 2 hours the bus will bring you back to the starting point.

“The treasures of the Reichenau” with cathedral and St. George
The island of Reichenau is also known as a monastery island, as it boasts two churches and a minster. The group tour “the treasures of Reichenau” connects the highlights of the island in about 2.5 hours for groups with a maximum of 50 people. They explore the minster of St. Mary and St. Mark and visit the treasury. During a bus ride over the island you will learn all about the history, vegetable growing, viticulture and fishing of the Reichenau.
