The restaurant impresses both with its ambience and the first-class food quality: everything is homemade here and all the meat comes from the region. The “Strandhaus” is listed as a recommendation in the gastronomic guide “Seezunge” and has the regional quality seal “Landzunge Plus”. There are grilled specialities and “special cuts” of Allgäu pasture-raised beef and pork, as well as real barbecue, where the meat is cooked for up to 12 hours in an indirect wood fire and for which owner Klaus Winter is known beyond the region and from TV. But vegetarians also get their money’s worth. Restaurant manager and sommelier Jasmin Schwabe-Winter and her team are responsible for the always attentive and friendly service at the Strandhaus. The “Strandhaus” is located directly on the Lake Constance cycle path, in front of the entrance to the 4-star Park Camping Lindau.

The Strandhaus uses only regional meat from Lake Constance and the Allgäu. All dishes, sauces etc. are homemade according to their own recipes. The highlight is the real barbecue from the wood-fired oven with cooking times of up to 12 hours.
